Which one actually makes the bigger difference when it comes to conversions, trust, and getting inquiries?
But if you’re forced to choose one over the other, or you’re trying to figure out what’s actually holding your homepage back, the answer might not be what you expect.
But they don’t play equal roles.
Your homepage copy does the explaining.
Your homepage design does the reinforcing.
When one is strong and the other is weak, things start to feel off fast.
Good copy creates clarity. It removes confusion. It helps someone understand your value without having to work for it.
If your homepage copy is vague, overly clever, or trying to say too many things at once, no amount of beautiful design will fix that.
People won’t scroll if they don’t understand.
