I can't recommend this enough for remote work – protect your files! Having your entire business saved only to your computer is a risk. If something happens to your computer, you could lose everything. Dropbox syncs to your computer so you can back up your files quickly and work directly off of Dropbox. You can also make unused folders and files online-only to free up space on your hard drive which equals a faster computer!
